All reservations are final. Payment is due in full at the time of booking. If the reservation is cancelled for any reason, the renter is responsible for 100% of the rental fee and will not be refunded. Please take this into account before making a reservation.
The Lakes reserves the right to cancel any reservation for any reason in its sole discretion. Full refund will be issued ONLY if a reservation is canceled by The Lakes.
Inclement Weather: The Lakes reserves the right to determine inclement weather and safe boating conditions. If it's raining in Old Forge, NY at the time of the scheduled departure or unsafe boating conditions exist, as determined by The Lakes, renters are not allowed to go out. Options are to
reschedule for a different day during renters’ stay at The Lakes or get a refund. This applies ONLY to Full and Half Day rentals. Once you’re on the boat and it starts to rain there is no refunds. The boat is yours for the reserved time.
Boat rentals are for REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY staying at The Lakes.

No rentals to individuals under 25 years of age. ID required upon request.
Life preservers included for every passenger onboard
Multiple day rentals: The use of the boat is prohibited after sunset and before sunrise. Boat must always stay docked at The Lakes. No refunds for inclement weather.
Full day rentals: 10:00am-5:00pm
Half Day Rentals: 9:00am-12pm
Rental rates DO NOT include fuel consumed during rental or sales tax
The Lakes reserves the right to refuse rental at our discretion
No refunds for inclement weather or unused time
Pets allowed Grills NOT allowed

Payment in Full at the time of booking

Respect your limits and keep within your limits to avoid injury
Don't drink and drive a boat; alcohol affects judgment, vision, balance and coordination
Once on the water, use common sense; in a split second, a situation can arise, or the weather can turn
If you notice storm clouds, a sudden temperature drop or wind speed increasing, play it safe and get off the water.
