TESTIMONIALS

“Amazing stay with wonderful hosts. Responsive, engaging and so welcoming. Perfect place for families with young kids - easy access to the lake with kayaks and boats. So lucky to have had this time”.

“If you are looking for the perfect Adirondacks experience, this is the place to stay. Everything you will need, watch the deer meander through the property, canoe, boat, sit by the campfire. Downtown old forge is just down the road. The cabins are newly remodeled, with a decorator’s flare.”

“The Lakes was a perfect stay for us - brand new renovations and 'mini resort-like' grounds are unique in the ADK. Interior was spotlessly clean (essential during COVID), comfortable, and furnished with designer touches. Kayaks, SUPs, and canoes were right there for us to set sail into the sunset and back again to a roaring fire in our own fire pit. We met a great group of people there for their (15th or so) annual family reunion, and the proximity to everything Old Forge and Inlet was great! Thanks Jon and Emanuela for a really great place to call home! “

“The pictures of this property are spot on!! Every detail of our cabin was so well done and clean!! Also, the outdoor living areas are great! Perfect location just outside of Old Forge.”

Patricia

“Great Old Forge location - away from the fray of town, but still walk-able if you want, and easy access to all the region has to offer. The newly renovated cottages are very nice, with easy self-check-in and check-out. Great lakeside set up right on the channel. We had fun with the paddleboards, kayaks and canoes that are readily available -- and loved sitting on the big deck and watching the boats go by.”

Karen

“Excellent stay! Beautiful property - access to the lake and use of the kayaks, canoes and paddleboards is a great value. Each cottage has its own fire ring and chairs, BBQ grill and leisure area to hang out and relax. Wonderful deck for dinning and a second deck above the boat house for laying out in the sun and watching the lake.”
